Pamela Jo "Pam" (Carver) Frost, age 67, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on August 8, 1958, she was the daughter of Billy Ray and Ruby Katherine "Peggy" (Eubank) Carver. Pam grew up near Beech Grove in Indianapolis and graduated from Manual High School in 1977. Pam married the love of her life, Kent D. Frost, on July 10, 1982, in Greenfield, and together they built a life full of love, laughter, and faith. They raised three wonderful children – Chad, Lance, and Paige in Fairland and Greenfield, Indiana. She cherished her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother, pouring her heart into her family. Pam began her career in the medical field in 1978, and her dedication to caring for others was evident throughout her life. She worked at Fairbanks Hospital in Indianapolis, Winona Hospital in Indianapolis, Major Hospital in Shelbyville, and Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. While working, she pursued her dream of becoming a registered nurse, earning her Bachelor's Degree from the IU School of Nursing in 1998. In 1999, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and continued working until 2001. Pam maintained her nursing credentials for the rest of her life, always believing she might one day return to help others. Pam's vibrant personality lit up every room she entered. She never met a stranger and had a gift for making people laugh, even during difficult times. She was full of life, energy, and faith – speaking to the Lord daily and trusting in His promise. She drew her inspirations in life from two distinct eras, the Victorian and the 1920's Flappers – influencing how she entertained, experimented with makeup, and fueled her unparalleled sense of fashion. Pam loved shopping, cooking for her family, working with flowers, drawing, and being outside watching the wildlife in their woods. She especially loved experiencing life, spending time with her loved ones, and sharing in a good mystery-crime show, such as Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Kent; children, Chad Frost of Carmel, Lance Frost of Acton, and Paige Frost of Greenfield; granddaughter, Luna "Miss Luna" Frost; siblings, Charles "Chuck" (Gail) Carver of Glasgow, Kentucky, Billy E. (Tina) Carver of Greenwood, Terry Carver of Indianapolis, Hazel (Greg) Griffo of Indianapolis, and Caroline Weilhamer of Greenwood; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant sister, Tina Carver. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. The Hancock Health Nurse's Honor Guard will present a tribute, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Chaplain Rob Mifflin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 6520 N. Andrews Ave., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309, or online at www.msfocus.org. Envelopes will be available at the mortuary. Friends may share a memory or condolence at www.erleweinmortuary.com. Pam was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love, laughter, and unwavering faith will be dearly missed. Her family takes comfort in knowing they will laugh again with her in Heaven.
