GREENFIELD – Sherry Lynn (Robinson) Thomas, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. She was born in Indianapolis on October 8, 1955, to John Robert Muck and Carol (Ingersol) Scott. She attended Lawrence Central High School and later received her GED. She married Robert D. Thomas on November 6, 1982, in Indianapolis. Sherry dedicated over 20 years of her life working as a claims adjuster for various insurance companies. She was a member of the New Palestine Lions Club, where she proudly served as a past president. She liked painting and playing bingo. She cherished time spent with friends and family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Her favorite vacations were spent in the mountains near Phoenix. Sherry had a special affection for cats and often rescued those in need of care. Sherry is survived by her son, Robert D. (Jennifer) Thomas II of Greenfield; daughter, Amber (Fred) Eyerman of New Palestine; five grandchildren, Carson Eyerman, Samantha Eyerman, Robert D. Thomas III, Emma Thomas, and Andrew Eyerman; and brother, Robert Robinson of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Robert Muck and Carol Scott; husband, Robert D. Thomas; and sister, JoAnne Baker. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. Memorial contributions may be made to the ELLE Foundation that grants second wishes to children who have relapsed with cancer. These wishes are important to not only the child suffering through cancer treatment but also the siblings fighting alongside them. By mail ELLE Foundation Inc., P.O.
