Phillip Michael Hale, a beloved husband, father, son, and cherished friend, left this world far too soon on January 24, 2025, in Franklin, Indiana. Born on January 2, 1989, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Phillip grew to embody resilience and joy, touching the lives of all those fortunate enough to know him.

A mechanical engineering technician for Cummins since 2021, Phillip excelled in his career, melding hard work with a passion for engineering that was evident in every task he undertook. His education at Eisenhower High School in Lawton, Oklahoma, followed by further studies at Lincoln Tech in Indianapolis, served as the foundation for a life dedicated to lifelong learning and achievement. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, where he was deployed to Kuwait. Phillip exemplified the virtues of dedication and service, continuing to impart those values through his interactions and endeavors.

With a personality described as very giving, he sought not only to achieve his own goals but to elevate those around him, making others laugh whenever possible. His warmth and humor lingered in the hearts of friends and family alike, creating a legacy of joy that will be cherished in memories shared around the proverbial campfire. Friends and friendship meant the world to Phillip

Phillip’s interests painted a vivid picture of his life; whether it was savoring a day at the bowling alley, casting a line into serene waters while fishing, or showcasing his culinary skills in grilling and smoking food, he embraced each moment with zeal. He had a knack for tinkering with tools, finding tranquility in the rhythmic dance of creation and repair, and always eager to lend a hand to anyone in need.

However, his proudest accomplishments were not his professional successes but rather the profound love he held for his children. Phillip reveled in the joys of fatherhood, weaving cherished moments into a tapestry of memories that his children will carry with them for eternity. His love, steadfast and unwavering, was a testament to his character and the bonds he fostered throughout his life.

Phillip is survived by his loving wife Angela Dicks Hale, children Karmyn Hale, and Talan Hale, father and mother Michael and Tina Hale, birth mother Kim Soto, sibling Dustin Hale, Jonathon Hale, Samantha Nelson, Joshua True, grandparents Phillip (April) Hale, Della Lovelace, and Gerry Cosgrove and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his daughter Holley Hale.
