I am so saddened to hear of the passing of my favorite doctor. Dr Hayes was sooooo caring and compassionate. When I had to have my uterus removed, Dr Hayes took my hand and he prayed for me before he put me to sleep. Dr. Hayes delivered two of my children. My oldest is 33! I have known Dr Hayes a very long time. I always looked forward to seeing him for my annual visits.. He would always say to me "it is always good to see you and I will see you next year God willing"... Rest in heaven Dr. Hayes!!

Dr. Hayes was an amazing man. We own a bagel shop and he was a supportive customer from the minute we opened. He became somebody we looked forward to seeing and talking to. We have been wondering about him for so long now and were so sad to hear of his passing. He was the kindest man and we are so sorry for your loss. He will forever be one of our favorite people who ever walked into our shop. We are so grateful we got to meet him and know him.

I have been thinking of Dr. Hayes and how sweet he was. I first saw him back in 1990 when I was having a miscarriage. He took great care of me. When Dr. Goodner, my regular GYN died, I switched to Dr. Hayes. Every year when I had my annual mammogram, the techs and staff in radiology raved about him. He will be missed as all great men are.

I was shocked to hear of Dr. Hayes' passing. He was an absolute treasure. His mannerism and caring of his patients was one that I've never seen in a Doctor before. He has been my GYN for many years and I looked forward to my yearly visit with him. Unfortunately, I won't get that honor this year. He was so gentle when he performed his examination and never rushed you out of the office. He was a rare find!! Dr. Hayes, you will be sorely missed here on earth, however you are up in Heaven singing with the Lord along with His choir of Angels. RIP My deepest condolences goes out to his family. I pray he passed peacefully.

I have known Dr. Hayes for over 20 years, first when I was a recovery room nurse at Pennsylvania Hospital and later when I became his patient. He was the kindest, gentlest soul I ever met and he had the most dazzling smile. It was obvious that he loved his work and that he truly cared about women´s health. There will never be another like him. My heart aches for his family and friends, and all of his patients. You will be missed beyond words, Dr. Hayes.

Dr. Hayes has only been my doctor for a couple of years, but who he was as a person and as a professional has had such a lasting impact. He was the kindest, gentlest soul. In our visits together he always had a large smile on his face to greet me, and we always shared a laugh or two. I would always joke with him that when my time would come to have children that I would make him get back in the delivery room to bring my babies into the world. There is no doctor I trusted more. As a postpartum nurse, we oftentimes shared many moments speaking about the profession, and it gave him an oppurtunity for us to reminisce about his past. I always enjoyed hearing his stories. As a nurse at Jefferson, there are many older nurses who still recall Dr Hayes, and regard him and his "group" as the absolute best OBGYNs they have seen come through the institution. I will miss you greatly Dr Hayes, and hope that you are at peace with God.

Where to begin...I´ve been a patient of Dr Hayes for 20 plus years. My only regret is that I didn´t meet before I had my son. The oven mitts the perfect ice breaker. I saw him only weeks ago where after a needed test we sat and shared life. Dr Hayes will be forever remembered for being an extraordinary doctor and human...

I would like to send my condolences to Dr. Hayes' family. He was one of the greatest humans that I've known, and was my doctor for over 22 years. He not only looked after my physical health, but showed an interest in how my family and kids were doing as well. I certainly got the sense that Dr. Hayes thought the world of his wife and children and the last time that I saw him, he looked me straight in the eyes and told me to have faith in what I was doing as a parent - to keep being there for my young adults - and that it would pay off. It brought tears to my eyes and I will never forget it, or dear Dr. Hayes.

My heartfelt condolences to Dr. Hayes' family. 28 years ago he was the doctor in the practice that saw me immediately after we found out we were having twins! I will never forget seeing him that day and then for all the years after when he was always kind, caring, respectful and full of life! I always asked him when he was going to retire but he loved what he did and had no plans to retire. I am very saddened to learn of his passing and wish you all strength during what I know is a very difficult time. He will be remembered fondly.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Hayes. My mother was a patient of Dr. Hayes and delivered me 35 years ago. As I began at the practice I too saw Dr. Hayes for many years as well as my younger sister who he also delivered. He was the kindest, most compassionate doctor. He always made you feel heard and provided the utmost care. When I became pregnant, I was moved to another provider but always stayed in touch with Dr Hayes. He always had a moment to spare to say hello and ask about my family and my sister and I who lost our mom a few years ago. His death is such a great loss and he will truly be so missed.

My bride had been seen by Dr. Hayes and found him to be not only a skilled clinician (Identified cancerous cells very early, with surgery saving her a world of problems; identifying a tissue disorder prior gynecologists had misdiagnosed) but a lovely person. He never, ever played the, "I'm the doctor and I know better!" card, instead making the patient and husband real members of the care team. He will be missed.

Dr. Hayes was my doctor for my second child in 1993. It was a very difficult pregnancy. I was put on complete bed rest and he actually came to my house for a check up. I remember having to get rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night and he came in for me. He is my HERO he saved both my daughters life and mine. If not for him I would not be here today. He always teased me and said I was the cause of his grey hair. I am tearing up right now as I write this. What a great man. I will never forget him. God bless and condolences to his family.

Not too many woman look forward to going to see their gyno but he was someone I always enjoyed going to see every year. He was my OB/Gyn for over 35 years. When he delivered my second child there were some complications but all turned out very well. After my son´s birth, 28 years ago, EVERY time I saw him he would say, "your son gave me the first gray hairs on the left side of my head!" Dr Hayes was always comforting! He always went above and beyond. He actually called me on a Saturday, yes a Saturday, 2yrs ago and left me the kindest, calming and reassuring message. I had left him a message about a concerned finding on my mammogram the Wednesday prior. I had missed the call so he left the most reassuring message that everything was going to be okay. To this day I hold that message very dear to my heart and just listened to it again upon hearing of his death and typing this remembrance. I truly will miss him!
Prayers and thoughts go out to his beloved family, friends and staff! Always remember "God Bless!"

Dr. Hayes was a very special person, not only a great dr. also wonderful , kind man. Myself, and my 2 daughters have admired him for several yrs. Danielle, called him smooth operator , a song they both loved by Sade. He helped Danielle have her child , when no one else could . He gave 100% to all his patients. He will never be replaced. I am so very saddened to learn of Dr. Hayes´ passing. I was his patient for over thirty years. What I will remember most about him was his genuine kindness and interest in me as a person, not only his patient. He would make it a point of remembering things about my children and always asked about them during my visits. Dr. Hayes truly loved his work as a physician and that dedication was very apparent. My condolences to his family and may his memory be a blessing.

My heart is heavy and my eyes were welled up with tears as I read of the passing of dear Dr. Hayes. I met him 25 years ago as he delivered my son six weeks early. It was a midnight emergency c-section and he saved my life and the life of my son. We talked about it every year at my appointments and I learned over the years just how high risk it really was. If not for him and his expertise, knowledge and experience, my son and I may not have survived. I am so thankful he was on call that night. God Bless him for all of the lives he has saved and brought into this world. I will miss him and our conversations with all of my heart. I will pray for peace and strength for his beloved family and may he be resting In eternal peace now.
