Phillip Richard Huber, Jr, son of Phillip Richard Huber, Sr. and Sadie Marie (Ripley) Huber, was born on January 7, 1944 in Preston, Missouri. He departed this life on June 7, 2023 in Camdenton, Missouri. At the time of his passing, Phillip was seventy-nine years and five months of age.
On March 30, 1974, Phillip was united in marriage to Mary Ann Salsman by Don Willis at Big Niangua Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Claude, Paul and Jimmy Huber; and two sisters, Helen Jamison and Edna Place.
He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Mary Ann Huber of Camdenton, Missouri; three sons, Lee Huber of Macks Creek, Missouri, John Huber of Trenton, Missouri and Greg and his wife Kris Ann Huber of Independence, Missouri; and four grandchildren, Dolan Huber, Jesse Huber, Jack Huber and Shelby Huber. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members who will truly miss him.
Phillip was raised mostly around Urbana, Missouri but attended school in Macks Creek, Buffalo and Urbana, graduating from Skyline High School.
Phillip made a profession of faith and was a member of Big Niangua Missionary Baptist Church, Roach, Missouri.
In his spare time, he loved to read but most of all, watching his grandchildren grow up and spending time with his family. During his working years, Phillip was a senior cook at many local lake restaurants and enjoyed preparing incredible meals for his family. His pleasures and focus in life were his Lord, spouse, and three sons and especially his granddaughter, Shelby. Phil loved taking nature walks with his wife and beloved Scottie dog, Munchie. He loved animals and would not hesitate to care for any lost cat or dog and especially their loving cat Leecie.
He was a loving husband, father & grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
