Phillip Eldon Taylor passed away peacefully at his home in Claxton, TN on December 11,2024. He was born in Anderson County, TN on April 4, 1950, at the family home in the Sinking Springs Community. Phillip graduated from Clinton High School in 1968. He served his country in the Army Infantry in the Vietnam War, September 5, 1969-September 3, 1971. He also worked for Sherwin Williams Paint as a Sales Rep, the Chevrolet Dealership in Clinton as a Service Manager and then spent one year at home with his new daughter in 1990. He then worked for Becromal for a number of years before they closed and then worked for Home Depot before he retired completely. Phillip was a Freemason for a number of years, was an NRA Member, and Army service (rank SP4). He was honorably discharged from the Army after serving in Vietnam for 10 months. He was an amazing father and grandfather and was truly an amazing person. He always made time for his family and friends. He often volunteered at his daughter's Elementary School. He loved spending time with his daughter and grandkids, taking motorcycle rides, going to car shows, working on cars, and loved photography/action photography.
