With love and gratitude for a life lived with strength, warmth, and selfless devotion, we invite you to celebrate the life and legacy of Phyllis Boyden a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who peacefully transitioned from this life.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Phyllis graduated from Las Vegas High School and built a beautiful life rooted in family, faith, and hard work. She spent 15 years as a proud and dedicated employee of The Cosmopolitan, working in the garment district and becoming part of the original team that helped open its doors. Phyllis was deeply cherished by her coworkers and valued the meaningful connections she made throughout her career.
But Phyllis’s greatest joy was her family. She was the heart of her home and the soul of every gathering. She leaves behind her brother, Kenny Foster; three children, Cynthia Boyden, Jenlaia Boyden, and Alex Jenkins; and six beloved grandchildren: Ja’Veyah and Taliyah Sloane, Jayceon Boyden, Camari Pea, Nymeria Boyden, and Kaliyah Jenkins. She also leaves a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and honorary friends of family and grandchildren who knew her simply as “Mom” or “Grandma.”
Phyllis was preceded in death by her loving grandmother Addiree Foster, her mother Ulonda Clark, her father Kenny Dickson, and her children Johnett Boyden and John Boyden Jr.
Known for her heart of gold, Phyllis gave her all to those she loved. Whether she was cheering on her grandkids at dance recitals, preparing Sunday dinners, or simply smiling as she watched her granddaughters dance in the living room, her love was always felt. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication will live on through everyone whose life she touched.
We thank you for your prayers, your love, and your presence as we honor and remember our beloved Mom Phyllis.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Cynthia and Jenlaia Boyden
