Phyllis Ann Cash

Lyman, SC – Phyllis Ann Cash passed away peacefully on Friday, June 23, 2023 surrounded by her family. Phyllis was the daughter of the late Frances and Blanche Hunt and the loving wife of 48 years to Johhny Cash.
Born in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, Phyllis was one of 5 children. She enjoyed life with her family and eventually moved to Clearwater, Florida at age 13. Phyllis would eventually meet her husband there where they lived happily for many years. In 2021 Phyllis moved to South Carolina to be closer to her daughter. She was a member of VFW and loved being a military wife. Phyllis also loved to host parties, cook for family, be surrounded by her children, mother and siblings, knit, crochet, and ceramic painting, but most of all she loved making people laugh. Phyllis will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children, Lori Trubey (Johnny Cantrell) and Nancy Parris (Shannon); her grandchildren, Michael Davenport, Russell Davenport, Sarah Hulsey, Michael Husley, Nikki Crosby, Brandon Trubey, Mickenzie Parris, Jacob Trubey, and Luke Parris; numerous great grandchildren; her sister, Margaret McLaughlin; and her beloved cat, Tabby.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her children, Debbie Davenport and Michael Trubey; and 3 siblings.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
