I taught Sunday school to 3rd-6th graders at the Lake Huron Community Church where my family, Phyllis and her husband, Dick attended. I invited her into my class to teach us sign language for the song, `Jesus Loves Me.´ We had 2 deaf people in our church and Phyllis´ husband was one of them. My class was going to sign the song for these two men as the congregation sang it. The children learned it and before the class was over I asked her, "What is the most interesting thing about living with a deaf person?" Her response, "Dick talks in his sleep." A chuckle ended up being the amen at the end of class that day as we all imagined him moving his hands as he slept.
Praying for the family´s peace going through their loss.
