Phyllis L. Duggins, age 77, was called to her Heavenly home on Saturday, March 22, 2025. She was born on May 16, 1947, to the late Roscoe and Mattie Lively.
She was a graduate of Oliver Springs High School.
She married Bruce Duggins, the love of her life, on December 26, 1964.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother to two sons, Wayne and Keith. She was always present in the lives of her grandkids, from ballgames to camping to graduations. She could always be found at the piano singing hymns with her granddaughters. She loved to talk with old friends and attending church. She was a light and joy to be around and knew no strangers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Mattie, brother, Danny, and her husband Bruce.
She is survived by her sister, Deborah Parks, her sons, Wayne (Lorie) and Keith (Lisa), and 11 grandkids.
Friends and family are invited to attend her Celebration of Life at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church from 6-7 pm on Thursday March 27, 2025. Followed by a service officiated by Paster Garvin Walls.
"In leu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mount Pisgah Print Shop. The address is 115 Old Hen Valley Rd, Oliver Springs, TN 37840."
