Phyllis M. Heckmann, nee Calabrese, age 99, Valedictorian Austin High School, Class of 1943; Graduated Rosary College Class of 1947 where she majored in Chemistry and made friendships that lasted over 77 years; Avid bridge player at the Oak Brook Club; devoted Saint Vincent DePaul Volunteer, Headstart program founder, Omaha NE; beloved wife of the late Dr. Irvin L. Heckmann; loving mother of Kathy (John) Kowieski and Peter (Michelle) Heckmann; cherished grandmother of Andy (Ally), Brian (Colleen), Matt (Tiffany) Kowieski and Meg (Joe) Quille, Alli, Sarah and Jay Heckmann and great-grandmother of Alivia, Brinley, Josie, Theo, Weston, Quinn, Nora and Ruth; dear sister of the late Pat (the late Betty) Calabrese; fond aunt of Barbara, Frank, Patrick and John Calabrese.
