Phyllis A. Lindquist 92, of Waukegan, IL passed away at 11:50 PM on January 26, 2023 in her home. Phyllis was born in Putnam, Connecticut on May 2, 1930, to Ralph and Gertrude Johnson. She graduated high school as a Horace Mann Scholar. On June 10,1950 she married Walter T. Lindquist. She was a homemaker and together with Walter she raised 4 children. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and needleworking. She loved working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She was an avid bridge player and a member of many bridge groups. She and Walter enjoyed traveling and got the chance to see a good part of this country and more.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Gertrude Johnson and her husband Walter Lindquist. Phyllis is survived by her sister, Linda Walsh, her son, Wesley (Margaret) Lindquist, her daughters Wendy (Edralin "Ace") Thomson, Karen (Julio) Garcia and Patricia (Craig) Anderson, her grandchildren, Augustus (Jill) Lindquist, Olivia (Jeff) Haigler, Benton Lindquist, Anders Thomson, Jennifer Thomson, Steven Anderson and Lindsey Anderson, her great grandchildren, Londyn Thomson, Cameron Haigler, Zoe Haigler, and Alia Thomson, her nephews, Jeffrey (Antoinette) Walsh, Richard Walsh and Michael (Nicole) Walsh and her nieces, Susan (Kevin) Keaveney and Shelia (Paul) Gaffney.

Chaplain Christopher Newby from Star Hospice will be officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday February 3, 2023, from 11:00AM - 12:00PM, funeral services immediately following at Warren Funeral Home located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL 60031. (Located on the northside of the interstate of Tri-State Parkway and Cemetery Road). Entombment will follow services at Warren Cemetery Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.
