Phyllis Mohr Obituary

Born in Mt. Jackson, PA on January 30, 1935 Phyllis was the daughter of the late William and Frances Kauffman McMillen.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Mohr, Jr. on August 8, 2002.
Phyllis had worked for Lawrence County Head Start and Catholic Services of Lawrence County as an accountant.
A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Phyllis was especially proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Phyllis is survived by four children, Brenda Mohr, Ed Mohr, Paula Prentice (Edward) and Steve Mohr (Erica), one brother, Dick McMillen and one sister, Mary Searfoss, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by her brother, Edward McMillen.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 9th at 6:00 p.m. at Family Worship Center, 23 W. Washington St., New Castle, 16101. Pastor Kris Kauffman will officiate. (Please use the alley door entrance near the old Post Office). A dinner will follow.
Arrangement have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.

Our Cousin Phyllis has always been such a sweet, endearing person and how i loved her gentle, kind spirit. We will miss you, dear Cuz, but rejoice in the knowledge we will see you again! As Grandma & Grandpap would remind us: May our family circle be unbroken. RIP
