Phyllis Ann (née LeFever) Molter, age 86, a resident of Phelps, WI and formerly of West Bend, WI passed away on Thursday April 3, 2025 at Rhinelander Aspirus Hospital, with her youngest daughter at her side.
Phyllis was born in Sheboygan, WI on August 23, 1938 to Ralph and Leona LeFever. She graduated from Random Lake High School in 1956. On September 13, 1958, Phyllis married Peter W. Molter in Random Lake.
She worked, at Amity Leather in West Bend, WI for over 20 years, ending her career there as a Quality Control Technician. Along with her husband and family, Phyllis owned and operated Twin Haven Resort on North Twin Lake in Conover, WI from 1985 through 1996.
Phyllis loved to cook for family and was an exceptional baker, preparing delicious desserts, that will be greatly missed. In her younger days, she enjoyed snowmobiling with friends and family. Phyllis loved vacationing, taking worldwide cruises and pontooning on North & South Twin. She was an avid follower of the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers, rarely missing a game on TV. Phyllis loved her family with her whole heart and was so very proud of her children's and grandchildren's accomplishments. Spending time with family was a priority for her entire life and everyone affectionately called her Nannie Philly. Phyllis especially enjoyed dining out and socializing with family and friends. Many will remember Phyllis at her daughter's former business, The Twilight Supper Club in Land O'Lakes, WI., greeting customers while seated in her special chair at the bar entrance.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Peter, parents, parent-in-laws Peter and Louise Molter, son-in-law Jim Kehoe, brother-in-laws Richard Knorr, and John Mueller, sister-in-law Holly LeFever and her husband's siblings: William, James and Milton Molter, Marion Schuppel, and Jewel Engeleiter.
Phyllis is survived by her three children: Mary Kehoe of Conover, WI, Douglas Molter of Phelps, Jill (David) Powell of Pleasant Prairie, WI, and former daughter-in-law Carol Molter of Conover, seven grandchildren: Nathan Kehoe, Peter K. Molter, Adam (Shannon) Kehoe, Amanda (Adam) Phillippi, Megan Powell, Matthew Molter, and Gavin Powell, four great grandchildren: Lily and Nico Phillippi, Remi Phillips and River Kehoe.
