Phyllis Mulligan Obituary

Phyllis dedicated many years to serving her community. She worked as a cashier at Stop & Shop in North White Plains and served as a Trustee and Sunday School Teacher at Valhalla United Methodist Church. Her compassionate spirit extended to volunteering with the church's efforts to feed the homeless in New York City and supporting Christian Indian Schools across the Midwest.
In her leisure time, Phyllis enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and playing word games.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Edward A. Mulligan, and her son, Edward A. Mulligan Jr. (Lori). She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Newman Nieves, and siblings Norman Waldy and Janet Heider.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Tricia Salerno Mulligan for her support and generosity in recent weeks.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
