Phyllis O. Rufo

Phyllis O. Rufo (nee Olson), age 73, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died on February 20, 2022, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, April 20, 1948, daughter of the late Paul Fredrick Olson and Gertrude Ellen Olson (nee Green), Phyllis had lived in the Delaware County area for most of her life.
Phyllis was an Executive Secretary (retired) at Wyeth for 40 years.
A 1966 graduate of Upper Darby High School, Phyllis enjoyed traveling the world, visiting Italy and Australia, volunteering and coordinating events, raising her dogs and supporting independent artists and craftspeople.
She was predeceased by her husband of 20 years, Daniel R. Rufo, who died in 2019, and her sister, Ellen Thompson (nee Olson).
Surviving are her son, Hunter Boyle and his partner, Candice, of Melbourne, Australia; her stepchildren, Maggie Rufo and Michael Rufo, of California; her brothers, Fred and Richard Olson; a host of other beloved relatives and friends; and her precious dogs, Lucy and Roxy.
Inurnment will be private.
