Polly was born on March 2, 1940, in Canton, Ohio. She graduated from Denison University, where she met her husband, Thomas Grafton. Polly married Tom on July 14, 1962, and together they had three children. They raised their family in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Barrington, Illinois, before moving to Florida.
Polly is survived by her husband, Tom; daughters Julie (Brian), Jane (David), and Amy; and nine grandchildren: Nicole (Jordan), Claire, Paige, David, Emma, Gillian, John, Matt, and Lily. She recently celebrated the birth of her great-granddaughter, Stella. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Jane Shipley, and her sister, Nan Warner.
Polly enjoyed volunteering at her church, the Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs, and at Joanne's House Hope Hospice of Bonita Springs. She was a talented quilter, needle pointer, cross-stitcher, and knitter. Polly also loved playing games with her friends.
