Guest Book
New Iberia – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, for Preston Andrew Harvey, 33, who passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in Lufkin, Texas.
Entombment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery.
Rev. David Furka will be the Celebrant.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home, and will continue Wednesday, from 8:00 am until 1:30 pm.
A rosary, led by the Men’s Rosary Group, will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.
Preston was born on August 4, 1990, in New Iberia, and was a 2008 graduate of H.L. Bourgeois High School, where he played football. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Coast Guard for seven years, having worked on helicopters. Preston was currently working as a truck driver, a job he truly loved.
A true diehard LSU Fan, Preston also enjoyed video gaming, having a cup of coffee, and a late-night bowl of cereal. More than anything, he loved and cherished his family. Always ready to give a really “big bear hug”, Preston was a loving husband, son, father, and brother.
Survivors include his wife, Amber Harvey; children, Wyatt Harvey, Lisette Harvey, and Mila Harvey; mother, Julie Hebert (Darren LeBlanc); father, Mark Harvey (Sherry); siblings, Kayla Hebert, Amanda Hebert, Ashley Saunier (Josh), Amber LeBlanc, and Jessica LeBlanc; grandparents, Curby Miller (Phyllis), Joan Blake, and Jeanette Blaize; aunts, Ronda Reilly (Bill), and Christie Simon (Chad); nieces and nephews, Nyla, Coen, Kinsley, Avery, and Remi.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, George Harvey, Jr.; and an uncle, George “GO” Harvey.
