Preston Eugene Gross, 62, of Brandon, Mississippi died Wednesday, January 7th, 2025, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson,
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January, 11, 2025, at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland. with burial following in Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon. A visitation will begin at 10:00 am Saturday.
Preston was born March 1st, 1962, in Houston, Texas, the son of the late Lester McFarrin Gross and Marjorie Mae Gross.
Raised in Jackson, Mississippi, near South McRaven Road. Preston worked in construction and carpentry for over 30 years.
He enjoyed bowling and playing golf; however, he cherished spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren participate in all of their activities.
Along with his parents, Lester McFarrin Gross and Marjorie Mae Gross and brother, Carl Gross and sister, Margaret Killebrew.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Deloris Gross of Brandon; daughter, Amanda Gross of Brandon. MS; son, Todd Gross and wife Hannah Barksdale of Pearl; daughter, Danielle Alcala and her husband, Juan Alcala of Pearl; daughter, Allie Killebrew of Brandon; daughter, Leslie McLaughlin and her husband Sean McLaughlin of Pearl; niece, Bridget Killebrew; grandchildren, Isabella Alcala, Axton Alcala, Eston Alcala, Liam Gross, Avery Gross, and Riley Alcala. He is also survived by a sister, Tina Lawson and husband Kris of Waller, TX; and sister, Patricia Gross of Baldwyn, MS.
