Priscilla Kemp Obituary
January 20, 1950 - February 5, 2025
Born in Montgomery, Alabama to Brigadier General USAF Retired Cecil Parker (Brick) Lessig and Vadalia Ethelyn Graves Lessig. She was an "Air Force Brat", raised in Alabama, Virginia, Louisiana, Japan, Michigan, Montana, Colorado, and (finally) Fort Worth, Texas.
Priscilla's passions in life included her family, her cat "Big Boy", science, and the University of Texas, where she spent her career as a Lab Tech, and is still known there today by her nickname, "Evil Peekey".
She is survived and missed greatly by husband, Daniel C. Kemp; son, Daniel Sean Kemp (wife) Lindsey Kemp; grandchildren, Georgia Helen Kemp, Daniel James Kemp, Katelynn Rose Kemp, Ryann Elaine Kemp, and Hanna Grace Kemp; sister, Marcia Lessig King; nephew, David Alan King and wife, Laurie King; niece, Julia Christine King-Henry and husband, Ryan Henry; and great nephew, Ryan Parker King.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX.
