Life Story
God in His infinite wisdom, very quietly and peacefully closed the eyes of our son on Saturday, October 1, 2022 in Wilmington, Delaware.
QUINTIN NOLLON HENDRICKS was born on Friday, January 18, 1963 in Milford Memorial Hospital located in Milford, Delaware. He was the second son born to Louis J. Hendricks and Hermia Delores (Phillips) Hendricks.
He received his education in Delaware, graduating from Lake Forest High School in Dover, Delaware in 1981. He, also, attended University of Delaware.
Quintin was raised in a Christian home and visited Second Baptist Church where his mother is a member.
Through the years, he worked several jobs. His last employment was with Residents Energy LLC.
Quintin enjoyed all sports, especially basketball. His favorite football team was the Philadelphia Eagles.
He loved spending time with his mother, Delois, and making sure his car was clean and always shining. Whether casual, business, or formal, he loved to dress.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory: his mother, Delores Hendricks, of Felton, Delaware, and his father, Louis J. Hendricks, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Two daughters, Ebony Chester of Brandywine, Maryland, and Jabrea Banks of Rockford, Illinois. A grandson, Jayceon Banks, and a granddaughter, Janiyah Banks of Rockford, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his son, Monte LaQuinn Waye of Wilmington, Delaware in 2012 and his only sibling, Louis Antonio Hendricks in 2021.
Also cherishing his memory is a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
