R. Scott Borders, 59 of Florence, passed away surrounded by his family on November 8, 2021. Scott was born on May 2, 1962 in Ashland, KY to the late Earl and Marcia Sue Borders. He was a high school quarter back and graduated from Paul G. Blazer High School. He attended the University of Kentucky where he met, and fell in love with his wife Sue Bulut. Scott earned his Juris Doctorate at Chase Law School and worked for 31 years as an attorney. He was then appointed as an Administrative Law Judge for 15 years in Workers Comp, two of those years being a Board Member. Scott knew so many amazing people in the law community and was a Friend of Bill. He would always want to lend a helping hand especially to his buddy, Charles LaRosa.

Scott is survived by his wife of 40 years together: Sue Borders, daughters: Madi (Ian Roe) Borders and Alli (Colton Dolezal) Borders, brother: Earl ""Rick"" Richard Borders, sisters: Marcia Hunt and Angela Childers, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces, and a host of very close and dear friends. He will be truly missed by everyone's lives he touched.

A time of visiting and sharing memories will be held Early Spring 2022 at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to (gofundme site https://gofund.me/15c36ed8) or (A Friend of Bill) Full obituary can be found at www.LinnemannFuneralHomes.com
