Rachel Lee Swenson

York -- Rachel Lee Woodworth Swenson, age 85, passed on Friday, October 24, 2025, in York, South Carolina, with family.
She was born on June 3, 1940 in LaGrange, Indiana to Elmer F. and Dorothy L. Hentzell Woodworth.
Rachel graduated from Springfield Township High School. She previously worked at Crystal Springs Dairy Bar in Belchertown, MA, Time Share Sales in Newport RI, truck driver as a team with son, Allyn, for North American and Intercity Lines, and finally as dispatcher for Intercity Lines for 22+ Years. She enjoyed helping others, traveling, camping, and caring for her schnauzers. She loved all her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her two sons, Glenn Swenson and Allyn Swenson, both of Blacksburg, South Carolina, and one brother, Larry Woodworth (Paula) of Cleveland, TN.
She is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: Max, Jerry, Tommy, and Jim Woodworth; and one sister, Phyllis Hoard.
The immediate family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like any donations go to a Central Pain Syndrome heart association in memory of Rachel Swenson.
