He was born on April 30, 2005, in Madison, OH. Raiden was the son of Samantha (Gregory) and Brian Busby.
Raiden grew up in Carterville, IL and Anna, IL and was a graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School Class of 2023.
Upon graduating from high school, Raiden enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country. While serving as a Marine Corps Reservist, Raiden went to work as a correctional officer for Pulaski County Jail where he has worked for the past year.
Raiden was of the Christian faith. He was the kind of guy that everyone loved to be around. He was very mature for his age, but was also very funny and loved to spend time with his brothers. He also loved to spend time with his girlfriend and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Above all, Raiden loved his family and cherished the times spent making memories with them.
He is survived by his parents, Samantha and Brian Busby of Anna, IL; his little brothers, Dominic Gregory, Liam Busby and Lincoln Busby; his grandparents, Julie Gregory of Johnston City, IL and Larry Wayne and Kimberly Busby of Anna, IL; his girlfriend, Jordyn North of Energy, IL; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, other extended family members and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Dean Gregory.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 North Court Street, Marion, IL.
The visitation will be at Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Following the time of visitation, the funeral service will be at the funeral home on Friday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Robbey Smith presiding.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.
Military Honors will be accorded at the graveside by members of the United States Marine Corps Funeral Honors Detail and the Marion V.F.W. Heyde-Pillow Post 1301 Funeral Honors Detail.
For those who prefer, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to "Food For the Hungry." Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or may be mailed c/o Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 North Court Street, Marion, IL 62959.
