To Rainette´s family,

I´m so very sorry for your loss. She was very proud of you and spoke fondly of you all. So much so that I feel like I know you, even though
we´ve never met.

She was not only a great co-worker and mentor, but also a great friend.
I´m sure those she assisted during her Air Force career will echo these sentiments.

I will greatly miss her and that wonderful laugh.

Sincerely,

Valerie Wetzel

I played softball with Rainette for years. She was one of the best all around infield players we had. As a person she was very caring about everyone around her. She was one of the individuals that held our team up when things got down. She was always there for you, no matter what. Rainette, you will be missed by your friends and I am sure by your family. Rest in Peace my friend. See you on the other side.

Rainette was an amazing person with a contagious laugh - always helpful and positive! And she was wicked smart - we always took our toughest system challenges to her at work. We used to tease her that she "followed" us to Ohio from Colorado. She will be missed!

My heart was broken when I heard Rainette had passed. She and I worked together for years and always remained friends. We just saw each other at my dad´s funeral and then again at dinner a few months later. So sad she didn´t get to enjoy her retirement.

I remember being so impressed at how sweet she was in taking such good care of her mom for all those years. She would go home at lunch every day to take care of her and then she would go home in the evening to take care of her mom and if necessary would return to work.

She was so dedicated to her work and to her family and friends. She talked about all of you and was so proud of you all.

I will definitely miss her and I´m sure you will too. May God bless you and keep His arms around you all to comfort you through this awful time.

My condolences to the Godfroy family. I worked many years with her from afar and finally got the opportunity to meet her "face to face" during her last year of federal service. May she rest in peace.
