He was born on October 4, 1938, in Bryceville, Florida, to the late Albert Russell and Ida Doris Higginbotham. A dedicated dairy farmer for 45 years, Ralph worked with Holstein cattle in both Callahan, Florida, and Woodland, Georgia. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty Jo Wright Higginbotham; his daughters, Lana Higginbotham, Dolly (Keith) Gill, and Susan (Jason) Cummings. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren, Katie Giles, Haylie (Zack) Whittenburg, Kyle Gill, Kendall (Matthew) Bowen, Jacob Cummings, and Justin Cummings; and great-grandfather to three. Ralph is also survived by his brother, Paul (Sandra) Higginbotham; and sisters, Iris Coleman and Virginia Higginbotham. The tribute above was prepared by Ralph's loving family.
