Ralph Joines Obituary

Ralph was born February 26, 1938 in Whitehall, MD, a son of the late Kyle Joines and Ruby (Vannoy) Zuercher.
He attended Kennard-Dale High School. He was a self-employed truckdriver crossing the country countless times earning the distinction of becoming a member of the Million Miles Safe Drive Club. He ended his career after 47-years with Unimark LowBoy at the age of 80. When not on the road, he enjoyed spending time on his farm with friends and family.
Ralph was predeceased by his brother Dale Joines and his half-brothers Herbert and Paul Joines, his son; John Lee Joines and his stepson; George (Bo) Corbett. He is survived by his companion, Barbara Loder, siblings: Edna Waltemyer, Peggy Walker and Kenneth Joines and his stepdaughters: Connie Stokes and Dora Markle.
The funeral services will be held Saturday, June 28th at Guinston Presbyterian Church, 14130 Guinston Forge Road, Airville. Rev. Chet Joines will officiate. Visitation will be held 9-10 am with the services following. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., East York, is assisting with the arrangements.
