Ralph G. Lopez, 86, of Banning, California, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025. Born in Tombstone, Arizona, Ralph led a life defined by family, service, and humor.

A proud Marine, Ralph dedicated himself to serving his country and his community. He volunteered for decades with the Banning Police Department Citizens on Patrol, contributed to Carol's Food Kitchen, and assisted at the Banning senior center, instilling in his family the importance of charitable giving and helping those in need.

Ralph worked as a carpet layer, mechanic, and small business owner, teaching his daughters the value of hard work and skill. He was a devoted family man, beloved for his humor, storytelling, and the joy he found in spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed gambling at the casino, he loved taking his wife to Zumba and always sharing a laugh and a joke wherever he went.

He is survived by his daughters Martha Cosentino, who followed in her father's footsteps by also serving her country in the Marine Corps., Margaret Lopez, & Elizabeth Hughes-Lopez, and his current wife, Carmen Colom; his grandchildren Guadalupe Aragon-Rojas, Juanita Aragon, Jimmie Aragon, Anthony Cosentino, Captain US Space Force, Ezekiel Cosentino; proudly served in the US Marine Corp like his Grandfather and his daughter-in-laws; Jeannie Hughes-Lopez, Charlotte Cosentino, and Ashley Cosentino. Ralph was a proud great-grandfather to his three great-grandchildren Olivia, Evan and Julia Cosentino. He was an adoptive father to Bridgette McFarland who has been part of the Lopez family for decades. Ralph was preceded in death by his daughter Wanda Aragon, and his son-in-law, Jimmie Aragon, and his beloved wife of 40 years, Julia Lopez, with whom he will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery.

A viewing will be held on Monday, August 18th, from 12 PM to 4 PM at Wiefels & Son Mortuary, 50 East Nicolet Street, Banning, California, 92220.
