Ralph Curtis Thompson

Ralph Curtis Thompson, a true embodiment of Christ's love, peacefully passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 71, after a courageous battle with health challenges. Born on September 15, 1953, Ralph's life was a beacon of inspiration, touching and uplifting everyone he encountered.
Ralph was the devoted husband of Jill Thompson for 44 years, having married on July 19, 1980, in Marion, OH. Their marriage stood as a beautiful reflection of God's love and was the foundation for the family they lovingly built together. Ralph was a caring father to Elizabeth (Max) Thompson and Rebecca (Scott) Shuttleworth, and a proud grandfather to Amelia and Jack. His love for his family knew no limits, and he embraced everyone who entered his home with the same warmth, making them feel as if they were part of his own family.
Professionally, Ralph found fulfillment in his work at Lautrec, where he formed lasting relationships with colleagues, especially Mickey and Spencer, who were dear to him. Beyond his career, Ralph enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending quality time with friends. However, his greatest passion was his service to his church, where he dedicated his time and energy to volunteer and support those in need, making a profound impact on all who knew him.
Though Ralph's passing leaves an irreplaceable void, his legacy of love, generosity, and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew him. His life was a testimony of faith and compassion-one that will be cherished and remembered for generations to come.

The family will welcome friends and family on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 10:30 AM until the start of the "Celebration of Life" service at 11:30 AM, at Woodside Bible Church, 3620 Rochester Rd, Royal Oak, MI. Following the service, a light lunch will be served.
