Ramon Francisco Mantanona Garcia, 49, of Georgetown, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, in Cynthiana, Kentucky. He was born Octobe 12, 1974 in Clarksville, Tennessee to Ramon Mantanona and Carmen B. Doss Garcia. Ramon was a 1993 graduate of Scott County High School. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of Georgetown. Jesus and his family were the most important things in his life. Ramon was also an avid sports fan, his favorite teams included the Los Angeles Lakers, Pittsburg Steelers, and New York Yankees.
Along with his parents Carmen and Raphael Garcia, Ramon is also survived by his children, Shaniece Garcia, Mariah Garcia, Kayden Garcia, Lovell Garcia, Destiny McAllister, siblings, Carmen Mantanona, Dina Mantanona, Joshua Mantanona, Mark Mantanona, Selena Garcia, Gabriel Garcia, Roberto Garcia, Juan Garcia, Sabina Mantanona, grandchildren, Tobias Garcia, Kaleiah Garcia, maternal grandfather, Carlos Doss, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 215 Wellington Way, Georgetown, Kentucky, with Bishop Kevin Johnson officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 5:00 pm. Pallbearers serving at the church services will be David Inga, Cuda Burgos, Bruno Lopez, Theo Clay, Ramon Morales, Lovell Garcia, Gabriel Garcia, and Adam Garcia.
Burial will follow on a later date at the Georgetown Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Michael Brewster, Adam Garcia, Tinsley McChristian, Juan Garcia, and Roberto Garcia.
