Randell P. MacFarlane Sr. 67 of Lebanon Maine passed away surrounded by family on July 14, 2025 at Tufts Medical in Boston MA.
Randell was born on July 28, 1957 in Orange TX. to George MacFarlane Sr. and Arlene MacFarlane (Jameson).
Randell usually went by Randy to family and friends. Randy grew up in Salem Massachusetts but spent most of his life living in Maine where he met his first wife Donna Chick of Kennebunk ME. They had four children together. Randy remained friends with his ex wife Donna until she passed in 2017. Randy was proud father and hard worker. He worked at times as a automobile mechanic and was a master metal fabricator. He was especially proud of his job at American LaFrance where he built fire trucks. Randy loved his entire family. Randy's sister Cindy says "He was an amazing brother and always willing to help others".
Randy enjoyed tinkering on things, he hated to be bored. He was very knowledgeable and passed on his mechanic skills to his children and eventually his grandsons.He enjoyed camping with his family and went every summer while his kids were little. He enjoyed hiking the white mountains in New Hampshire, and he LOVED to jet ski. Randy also had a love for music of all kinds, before he had children he used to play base guitar in a band. Randy was a wise guy, who liked to tell jokes and make people laugh. The nurses told his family that "He was a joker, and always made us laugh.We will miss him".
Randell was predeceased by his mother Arlene and father George Sr. his brother's Gregory, George Jr. and Donald. His sister's Doreen, Cheryl and Dawn.
Randell leave behind a huge family.
His son Randell MacFarlane Jr. Of Lyman along with his wife Nicole and their daughter Teaghan and two step grandchildren Ace and Jaxon.
His Daughter Kendra Aucoin of Lebanon her two son's Dylan Crowley and Gavin MacFarlane-Mccarty, his son in-law Joe and two step grandchildren Ashlyn and Cailey.
His son Matthew MacFarlane Sr. Of Lyman along with his wife Dorothy and their children Matthew Jr., Christopher and Lily.
His daughter April Morse of Grey and her two children Leif and Lincoln.
His sister Cindy MacFarlane of Lewiston and her son Marcus Smith.
His sister Kathlene MacFarlane of South Carolina and her children Joseph and Brandon.
Randell will be greatly missed by all.
