Randall Lynn Pittman, age 78, of Colchester, passed away at 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at his home. He was born on January 28, 1947 in Canton, IL the son of Richard and Bessie McKean Pittman. He married Carol Wardell on June 10, 1967 in Macomb. She survives.
He is, also, survived by son, Craig Pittman of Macomb, daughter, Stacie (Steve) Bowers of Shelbyville, Tennessee, daughter-in-law, Rhonda Pittman of Macomb, seven grand-children, six great grand-children, and one sister, Robin Pittman, of Colchester. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, R. Scott Pittman, one grandson, Steven Carnes, and one brother, Richard Pittman.
Randall lived in Colchester since 1974. He served in the Army from 1966 to 1969. Randall earned his master's degree from Western Illinois University in 1991. He worked for NTN Bower for over 35 years, retiring in 2010. He was a member of the Faith Fellowship Church.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Pastor Dave Scott will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb where full military rites will be conducted by the Macomb American Legion and the Macomb VFW.
The family will meet with friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Monday. Memorials may be made to the Colchester Fire and Rescue Squad. You may sign the guestbook and leave online condolences at clugston-tibbitts.com.
