Randall Wayne "Randy" Shaffer

Funeral services for Randall Wayne “Randy” Shaffer will be held Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. with visitation at 1:30 p.m. at City On A Hill Pentecostal Church in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Andy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Randy was born February 11, 1955, in Arcadia, Louisiana and went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2025, in Minden, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Helen Shaffer; sisters, Janice Greer and Winnie Sue Hall; brother, Rodney Shaffer; brother-in-law, Doug Hall; and nephew, Ken Puckett.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Shaffer of Minden; daughters, Brandy Merritt (Keith) of Sibley and Chrystal Guin (Heath) of Gibsland; sister Joyce Pucket (Corky) of Minden; brother, Jerry Shaffer (Charlotte) of Minden; brother-in-law, C.W. Greer (Charlotte) of Minden; grandchildren, Isaac Merritt, Maya Merritt, Luke Merritt, and Asher Guin, and his special companion, Maddie Ann.

Pallbearers will be Keith Merritt, Heath Guin, Rusty Puckett, Jimmy Hall, Garland Tarver, and Conrad Reeves.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shayne Shaffer, Mike Puckett, Phil Puckett, Tony Hall, Roddy Shaffer, Denny Shaffer, Dustin Shaffer, Todd Greer, Isaac Merritt, Luke Merritt, and Asher Guin.
