Randy was born on September 13, 1960, to the late Robert E. Doran and Shirley (Freels) Shepard. Randy graduated from Logansport High School in 1960. He worked on loading docks for the meat packing industry for many years. He enjoyed fishing and painting cars in his free time. He also loved to collect all sorts of things over the years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley Shepard of Indianapolis; stepchildren, Samantha Maldonado (Luis) of Goshen and Demas Love of Kentucky; five grandchildren, Caleb Tucker, Chloe Maldonado, Camie Maldonado, Mya Love and True Love; two brothers, Bob Doran (Melinda) of Logansport and Ron Doran (Dennine) of Indianapolis; one sister, Ronda Doran of Indianapolis; and many nieces and nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, and his wife, Janet Doran.
Funeral services for Randy will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 1:00PM at Singleton and St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00AM until the time of service. Burial will be at New Crown Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
