Randy Jackson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hawker Funeral Home - Blackfoot on Jan. 29, 2026.
Randy Lynne Jackson was welcomed back into the light and the universe on January 26, 2026, surrounded by love from her daughter, chosen family, and dearest friends.

We hope she is now comforted in the arms of the love of her life, Brad; warmly patted on the back by her father, Don; scooped up by her favorite grandfather, Mark; giving her cousin Jerry a hard time for beating her there; dancing with her dear friend Burton; and catching up with her three little sisters-Nikki, Pamela, and Sandra-while being joyfully received by the countless family members, friends, and beloved pets who went before her.

Randy is survived by her daughter, Sheyenne Hernandez, and son-in-law Marcus Hernandez; her granddaughters Presley, Tessa, and JayCee; her brother Earl Jackson and his wife Anne, and their sons Chris and Jeff of Canada; her aunt Carma Jackson Young Bradley (101); her chosen sister Shana Mickelson; her cousin Sheila Jackson and many deeply loved friends, including Kristie Lopez, Holly Ashley, Julie Wasia, Katherine Thompson, Deon Rossi, and the extended crew from Joe's Bar, Western Farm Service, & S&G Electric.

Randy chose to live life on her own terms, declining the unpleasantries associated with cancer treatment. She remained stubbornly dedicated to her job at S&G Electric, where coworkers became family and gave her a place to focus on living. Many were amazed by how long she persevered, and her doctors and nurses marveled at her endurance and grit.

Her legacy lives on in open roads and classic rock, in wild laughter and stubborn courage, in gardens, and in the granddaughters who carry her spirit forward. It lives on in the people she welcomed, helped, fed, housed, and believed in-those who felt seen, accepted, and loved simply for being who they were.

A short service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, at Hawker Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Blackfoot, Idaho. All are welcome to eat, drink, dance, be merry, and raise a cheer to the life of Randy Lynne Jackson.

Randy loved flowers and plants, but preferred to enjoy them while she was living. Please consider making a donation in her honor to the Blackfoot Animal Shelter or a helping organization of your choice.
