Randy Roberts, 68, of Iowa Park, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025.

Randy was born October 11, 1956, in Henrietta, Texas, to Norma Ralls and Alfred Junior Roberts. A proud Eagle Scout, Randy graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1975. He was also the first Santa Claus at Sikes Mall-a role that reflected his lifelong love of bringing joy to others.

Throughout his life, Randy gave generously to his community. He was a member of the Optimist Club, participated in Christmas in Spring and the Special Olympics, and made it a tradition to deliver gifts and meals to families in the Eastside neighborhood where he was raised.

Randy spent much of his career at Sheppard Air Force Base, working as a Senior Aircraft Mechanic with the NATO program. He also ran a small car dealership and body shop with his wife. In his later years, he enjoyed "picking" and selling what he lovingly called his "treasures."

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Renee Roberts; daughter Kimberly Millington and her husband James of Waco; daughter Courtney Reames and her husband Justin of Wichita Falls; and son Derrick Roberts and his wife Crystal of Iowa Park. He was "PawPaw" to nine beloved grandchildren: Jonathan, Nicholle, Tristan, Lawrence, Addalyn, Shelby, Trinity, Aleas, and Dale.

Randy is also survived by his brother Arthur Roberts and wife Robin of Iowa Park, their children, and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Roberts, and Norma and Larry Chandler.

The family would like to thank Sheridan Medical Lodge for the care they provided as Randy bravely battled dementia and kidney failure. A special thank-you also goes to Ray, his best friend and roommate, for his friendship and kindness in Randy's final years.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice. Randy always said he wanted to meet "the man who made the water." We believe that when he fell asleep Monday night, he woke up in Heaven-and finally got to do just that.

"A limb has fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong."
