Randy Martin Sprigg

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Randy Martin Sprigg, 55, of New Kent, VA on June 9th, 2025. He and his wife, Cara, shared 29 years of marriage together.
Randy was born in Williamsburg, VA; he was the son of Robert and Vicki Sprigg. He graduated from Lafayette High School, then continued his education at Old Dominion University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994. Randy's career started at Tech Weld Inc in 1995 as a design engineer, manufacturing petroleum tanks. Following that, he accepted the role as Lead Engineer at The Miller Group, designing retail store display fixtures. He then transitioned to a more challenging position at Hill Phoenix in 2004. Randy served in many roles during his 20 years there such as Production Engineer, New Product Development, Technical Product Support, to Project Manager.
Randy was a loving father to two daughters, Savannah Vilt of Yorktown, VA and Abby Sprigg of New Kent, VA. He taught them the importance of family, hard work, and following their dreams. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also an avid pool player and loved being a part of a billiards league.
He is survived by his wife, Cara Sprigg; their daughters, Abby Nicole Sprigg and Savannah Leigh Vilt (Mason) and their son Meyer. He is also survived by his sister, Robin Ebert (Andy) and their daughters Samanatha and Kristin; his brother, Roger Sprigg (Carey) and their sons Jacob and Ryan; and his parents, Robert and Vicki Sprigg. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished moments with many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 3 pm at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail Providence Forge, VA 23140. The visitation will be held from 2 pm to 3 pm just prior to services.
