Raquel Ojeda was born in Durango, Mexico, on July 2, 1965, to Sabino Perez and Transito Soria. She was married to the love of her life, Miguel Ojeda, for over 30 years.
Raquel was a loving homemaker who enjoyed nothing more than having her family together. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart, and cherished the time they spent together, especially the family gatherings when everyone could be together. She simply loved everyone who crossed her path. She was very involved in her children's lives, and she treasured the quality time she spent with her grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews. She loved everyone's children just like they were her own and was a second mother to anyone who needed one. Raquel will be very deeply missed.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Sabino Perez and Transito Soria, and her brother, Bernardino Perez.
Left to hold her memory dear are her husband, Miguel Ojeda; sons Jesus Perez and daughter-in-law Erin, Michael Ojeda and daughter-in-law Jocelyn, Anthony Ojeda, Jesus "Baby J" Ojeda, daughter Rachel Ojeda, and Selene Perez, the niece she lovingly raised. Raquel is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Chloe and Derek Perez; her sister, Maria Perez, brothers Juan Perez and sister-in-law Carmen, Jose Perez and sister-in-law Lupe, Jesus Perez, Refugio Perez and sister-in-law Francisca, and Leonardo Perez and sister-in-law Enit; along with a host of nieces and nephews who she utterly adored, and many more loving family members and friends.
