Funeral services are Friday, April 25, 2025, at 11:00 am at Culpepper Funeral Home in Canton. Visitation is 9:30 am until 11:00 am prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Canton City Cemetery.
Ray is survived by his wife Faye Cook McFarland, sons Kenneth Ray McFarland (Lesa), Larry Wayne McFarland (Michelle), Terry Leon McFarland (Heidi) and Darryl Glenn McFarland, stepdaughter Dena Phillips, sister Juanita Waldrop, 16 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Walsey and Eunice Franklin McFarland, brother Wayne, sister Katie, his first wife Charlotte, granddaughter Brittany, and stepson Kenneth Phillips. Ray was a retired Manager with Canton Butane.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Raymond Presbyterian Church, 601 Port Gibson St, Raymond, MS 39154; Center Terrace Baptist Church, 605 E Peace St, Canton, MS 39046; and Old Madison Presbyterian Church, Old Yazoo City Rd, Canton, MS 39046.
