He is survived by his wife, Michele P. Burger; two sons, David Burger & his wife, Anneli and Thomas Burger & his wife, Valerie; two grandchildren, Kyle & Katie Burger; his nephew, Sean Toohey & his wife, Michelle and their daughter, Brooke; and sister-in-law, Leslie Servus.
Relatives & Friends may visit from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 pm. As an expression of sympathy, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org. Click here to donate online.

I met Mrs. and Mr. Ray Burger at age 16 when I became friends with Thom and Dave. He and Michele made a significant contribution to my life by including my sister and I in their Cape May summer vacations with their sons that created so many fun adventures and memories.
Ray loved eating at his favorite restaurants and generously shared those experiences with us as well.
Michele, thank you for making these memories with Ray for all of us. I'll always cherish them.
