Paul J. Leonhardt, age 62, of West Deptford, NJ passed away on August 22, 2025. Born in Woodbury, NJ on November 7, 1962, he graduated from West Deptford High School Class of 1981. He excelled in wrestling and made it to the NJ State finals during his high school years. Paul worked most of his career for the State of New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission.

Paul loved playing his guitar and singing for anyone who would listen, playing "gigs" in his younger years singing his favorite classics in a two-man band named "Shooz" with his best friend, Mark Dixon. He was a huge Beatles & Bruce Springsteen fan with a numerous collection of records that he was very proud of. Paul also enjoyed cooking for family and friends; especially for his girls and making their favorite crab cakes (which he called "krabby patties"). He also enjoyed fishing and was a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Paul was pre-deceased by his wonderful parents, Earl and Helen & his oldest brother, Steve "Duke"; he was a loving father to Abigail & Annabel; Beloved brother to Robert (Deb), Dave (Barb), Tom, Christine (Russ); He is also survived by his godparents, Patricia Duffy and Jimmy McGlone.

He will also be missed & remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews & friends.

Relatives and friends may visit from 9:00am - 10:30am on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am. Interment will be private.
