Michael D. DiGiamberardino, age 66, passed unexpectedly Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Jefferson Hospital in Washington Twp, NJ.

He was born in Woodbury, NJ to parents David and Theresa DiGiamberardino. Michael was a graduate of Clearview Regional High School, Class of 1977. His first job was at the Mantua K-mart, later moving to Michigan to work at their corporate headquarters. Michael was a graduate of Pfeiffer College in Misenheimer, North Carolina. He spent many years working in various other companies as a business manager and in sales. Upon retirement he moved back to Sunny Estates in Cross Keys where he created new friendships and was loved by the community.

Michael attended Barnsboro United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church of Glassboro where he participated in their bell choir. He also enjoyed his involvement in the Historical Society of Mantua. Michael loved genealogy and his recent travel to Italy to connect with family. He was an avid Disney fan, loved spending time with family and friends, and was a loving father to his son, Bradley.

Michael is survived by his son, Bradley DiGiamberardino, and his brother, Rev. John DiGiamberardino and his wife, Paula, and nephew Jayson (Sarah) and niece/goddaughter, Abigale. Also, by his dear friends, Steven Cockerill and his wife, Christine.

He was predeceased by his parents, David and Theresa (nee Ratz) DiGiamberardino.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm at Smith Funeral Home in Mantua, NJ. Burial will follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Mantua Twp. Historical Commission Elevator Fund, 145 Mantua Boulevard, Mantua, NJ 08051 or the Bell Choir Ministry at First United Methodist Church of Glassboro.

I just learned of Michael's passing. I knew his dad from school and his mother through FB, but my knowledge of Michael is only recent, through FB and MTHS. I'm very sorry to hear of this. May all your memories be happy ones.
