Raymond Leroy Curtis, 73, of Waldron, Arkansas, passed from this life on August 25, 2025. He was born on November 22, 1951, in Y-City, Arkansas to Joseph and Daisy (Thomas) Curtis.
Raymond was a loving father, grandfather, and uncle. He was known to be an honest man, who was always ready to help his family and friends in need. In his younger years, Raymond worked in timber before going into construction working with concrete and eventually owning his own concrete business. In his spare time, Raymond loved to fish and hunt, and enjoyed watching movies, especially westerns.
Raymond is survived by his sons, Michael Curtis and Neil Chaney, his daughter Amanda Cheesman, grandchildren Courtney Cheesman, Ivy Catlett, Tyler Curtis, and Trinity Curtis, sisters Monette Austin and Linda Beth Rogers, a special nephew Jody Curtis, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Daisy Curtis, and several brothers and sisters.
A memorial in Raymond's honor will be held at a later date.
