Raymond Windell Gordon

Raymond Windell Gordon, age 92, of Broseley, MO, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at his home surrounded by family. Mr. Gordon was born April 3, 1933, in Gideon, MO, son of the late Joseph and Cora Gordon (Earnest).
Raymond carried a strong sense of duty and discipline throughout his lifetime. He served in the United States Army and the National Guard. He placed great importance on being resourceful and frugal, and there was rarely a moment when he wasn't working on something. He found great joy in both the outdoors and the satisfaction of a job well done. Whether tending to his garden, fishing, or tinkering around, he stayed busy with purpose and pride.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Zelma Ruth Gordon (Parks). He is also survived by three children: Rita (Gary) Trout of Dexter, MO, Becky Harris of Broseley, MO, and Kevin Gordon of Fisk, MO; 11 grandchildren: Elizabeth Harris, Josh Gordon, Cherish Heydenreich, Josh Trout, Charles Gordon, Cora Ross, Henry Wooten, Holly Vance, Nathan Gordon, Adam Gordon, and Chad Gordon; and several great and great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Raymond was also preceded in death by two sons: Clifford Allen Gordon and Jerry Windell Gordon; one granddaughter: Aleasha Harris; one great-grandson: Dalton Trout; and seven siblings: Marie Perry, Alma Tolbert, Imagene Gordon, Albert Gordon, Elvis Gordon, Eugene Gordon, and Lila Joins.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 14, 2025 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
