Raymond was born on May 4, 1938, and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended Southeastern Bible College in Alabama. A devoted evangelist and pastor for 53 years, he faithfully served at First Assembly of God of Pinellas Park for 37 of those years (1976-2013).
Raymond was also a gifted singer and musician, recording four gospel albums through his life. He had a passion for gardening and nutrition, deeply loved his family, and above all, he loved Jesus.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Leonard; his mother, Wauneta Myers; and his sister, Lorraine Leonard.
Raymond is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Elaine Ray Leonard and his son, Raymond Shawn Leonard.
A private committal service will take place at Millville Cemetery.
