Raymond Louis Macke, son of Anton and Martha Macke. Loving and devoted husband of Saeko Yoshida Macke. He is survived by his son James Masato Macke and his granddaughters Hannah Rae Macke, Celine Saeko Macke, and Sophia Noel Macke.

A true patriot, Raymond is a retired Navy veteran serving for just over 20 years patrolling the Vietnam coast from the late 1950's. After retiring from the Navy, he worked as a civil servant at Scott Air Force Base ensuring Air Force Air Lift Command operational readiness.

Raymond devoted his life to God, family, and country. His devotion to his family was unquestionable. Always ready to listen and help in anyway he could. He would always sacrifice his needs and placed his family first. His neighbors also found him always ready to help.

His contagious smile, personality, and occasional politically incorrect comments brought smiles to everyone around him. He will truly be missed.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 23rd at four o'clock in the afternoon at Celebration Village Forsyth, 3000 Celebration Boulevard, Suwanee, GA 30024.

Online condolences may be expressed at www.crowellbrothers.com. Arrangements by Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. (770)448-5757.
