Raymond G. Mansour, 94, of Salem, NH, and Naples, FL, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Salem Haven Rehab, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 20, 1930, he was the son of the late George and Lulu (Souma) Mansour, and beloved husband of the late Vincenza "Jennie" Mansour.
Born and raised in Lawrence, MA, Raymond graduated from Lawrence High School in 1948 and went on to serve his country with honor as a Marine during the Korean War. After his service, Raymond pursued higher education at Tufts University, where he earned a degree in civil engineering. He was a hard worker and established his own construction company, shaping infrastructure with integrity and skill. Raymond was a proud Veteran and a dedicated member LANAM Club and the Lawrence Rotary Club offices where he held as President and Governor – District 793. In his free time, he liked to travel and was an avid golfer.
Along with his parents, Raymond is pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 69 years, Vincenza "Jennie" (Pentella) Mansour; as well as his siblings: James Mansour, George Mansour, Helen Kalil, Louis Mansour, Alice Mansour, Chad Mansour, and Loudie Sullivan.
He will be dearly missed and is survived by his loving daughter, Diane Labrecque and her husband Kevin of Salem, NH; and grandsons, Andrew and his wife Jennifer, and Randy and his wife Jennifer, along with his great-granddaughter, Savannah.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. George Orthodox Church, 8 Lowell Street, Lawrence. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at United Lebanese Cemetery in Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Raymond's memory to St. George Orthodox Church, 8 Lowell Street, Lawrence, MA 01840.
