We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2024, at the age of 91, Raymond G. Reynolds of Spencer, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Raymond G. Reynolds was born to George and Rose (Bond) Reynolds in Southampton, England on December 30th, 1932. Ray joined the British Merchant Navy as an Engineering Officer and began his travels to exotic places. When on shore leave in Blyth, Northumberland England he met the love of his life Joan Reynolds (nee Graham). They married after a whirlwind courtship and remained married for almost 64 years. In 1966 they emigrated to the United States with their two children.
Ray had worked as a Tool and Die Maker for General Motors and was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Ray, and his great sense of humor and kindness will be missed by his large family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joan of almost 64 years; daughter, Sally (Paul) Svoboda and son, John (Lisa Zastenik) Reynolds; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John and sister, Blossom Knight.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Parker Funeral Home, 202 E Main Street, Spencer, Ohio.
Chaplain Don Bolich will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, please send prayers to his loving wife and family.
