Raymond Joseph Storc, 78, of Huntersville, NC passed away on May 22, 2024. Raymond was born in Jamaica, Queens, NY on December 7, 1945 to the late Sabina E. and Stephen J. Storc. Dear brother, survived by Stephen E. Storc (& wife, Ann).
Raymond was a beloved husband of 56 years to his devoted wife, Lynn T. Storc (Ruckgaber) and cherished father of 5 children - Lauren M. Garrett (Ronald), Tracey L. Davis (Glenn), Kerry L. Rago (Jerry), James M. Storc (Natalie) and Michael R. Storc (Shelley). He took great pride in his adored grandchildren: Dylan R Davis, Jared G. Rago and Mataya G. Storc. In addition, he was a fond uncle to many nieces and many nephews.
Raymond was a US Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War and is a retired Nassau County Police Detective who enjoyed a 34- year career in law enforcement.
A funeral mass will be held a St. Therese Catholic Church, 217 Brawley School Rd. Mooresville, NC 28117 on Friday May 31, 2024 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury NC 28144.
