Raymond "Buddy" Nelson Tinney, 63, of Maplesville, Alabama passed away August 28, 2025, at his residence in Maplesville, AL.
He was born October 24, 1961, in Alabama, son of the late Raymond Tinney and the late Peggy Tinney.
He was a devout Christian who passionately served his Lord and Savior. His dog Dixie was his pride and joy.
Surviving are his Son, John W. (Kasey) Tinney; Daughters, Britney Satterfield, Brianna Seales; Aunts, Linda (J.R) Atcheson, Eleanor Smith; Uncle, Emmett Hayes, Jr; Grandsons, Mason Satterfield, Ryder Satterfield; Andrew Satterfield; Granddaughters, Addie Satterfield, Brilynn Higgins, Maddie Higgins, Raelynn Seales.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Raymond Douglas & Peggy Joyce Tinney; Grandfather, Emmett H. Hayes, Sr.; Grandmother, Levadie Burt Hayes; Sister, Deborah D. Tinney and other extended family.
Pallbearers: Adolphus Harris, Michael Atcheson, Brandon Atcheson, J.C. Smith, Reese Green, Robert Holloway, Henry Atchison, and Butch Barker.
Friends will be received Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Pletcher Community Church.
Services will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Pletcher Community Church with Pastor Joey Green officiating.
Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery.
